FAQs

Do MaxWell Pet formulas cause any side effects?
There are no known side effects. There have been no reported adverse events as a result of any of the formulas. However, you should not give ANY product if your pet has known allergies to any of the ingredients.

How do I give my dog MaxWell Pet formulas?
The easiest way is to put the formulas into your pet's food. If you are giving MaxWell Pet more frequently than you feed, you can either squirt some directly into your dog's mouth or let it soak into a treat.

I have dogs of different sizes. Do they all get the same amount of MaxWell Pet?
Most dogs will do just fine with 1.0 ml at a time. Very small breeds (Chihuahuas, Yorkies, etc.) can be started at half that amount and very large breeds (Great Danes, Mastiffs, etc.) might require a bit more. The amount and/or frequency can be safely adjusted to suit your dog’s needs. The dropper is marked for easy dosing.

Can I give my dog MaxWell Pet while she’s pregnant and lactating?
No adverse reactions have been reported as a result of giving MaxWell Pet during this time. However, while pregnant or lactating, it is advisable to seek the advice of your veterinarian before giving these products.

How long will it take to see results?
This will vary from animal to animal. We often see results within the first few doses. In other instances, depending on how severe or how long the problem has been going on, it may take several weeks to produce the desired effect.

There’s alcohol in MaxWell Pet. Why?
The alcohol present in MaxWell Pet is a necessary part of the manufacturing process. Some of the active plant-based ingredients used in these formulas are only soluble in alcohol, without which these powerful substances could not be extracted. There are only trace amounts in a single dose and this amount is not harmful to animals.

Can I give MaxWell Pet if my dog is also taking a prescription drug?
There have been no reported cases of interactions between MaxWell Pet and prescription drugs. The formulas have been found by many dog owners to be useful while weaning off certain medications. Ask your veterinarian if this might benefit your pet.

Will MaxWell Pet interfere with my pet’s nutritional supplements?
Not only do MaxWell Pet formulas not interfere, they actually enhance the utilization of certain minerals and other nutritional substances.

Can more than one formula be given at the same time?
Yes. All of the MaxWell Pet formulas are compatible with each other and will retain their individual effectiveness when given together.

Will my pet need to take MaxWell Pet forever?
The MaxWell Pet formulas were not developed to mask symptoms but to assist in bringing the body back to a state of health. Once the desired result has been achieved, the formulas may then be taken on an as-needed basis. However, the formulas do act preventatively and you may continue giving your pet MaxWell Pet formulas indefinitely without harm.

What are the ingredients?
All of the MaxWell Pet
formulas contain a combination of three types of ingredients known as biotherapies. The three we use are gemmotherapy, lithotherapy and organotherapy. Gemmotherapy uses extracts made from the buds and other actively growing parts of plants that stimulate and optimize cell function much like stem-cell therapy. This is very different from typical herbal extracts in that most of the active constituents in the new growth parts disappear once the plant matures. Lithotherapy uses mineral-rich rocks that are reduced to a fine powder and bioenergetically enhanced (homeopathically potentized.) This allows for immediate absorption and optimization of mineral balance within the cells where they act as catalysts for enzyme reactions to drive the energy of the cell. Organotherapy uses homeopathically prepared healthy glands and other tissue. It activates the immune system and restores and balances normal function.
